Today is White Gift Sunday. We invite food donations or monetary
donations and all gifts received will go to the Newburgh-Camden Lions
Club for their Christmas Boxes to local families in need.
Today in Centreville following the service, please plan to stay for the
Annual Church Family Potluck!
You are encouraged to take and share the Christmas Newsletter, which
includes the information of our Christmas services and celebration with
anyone you think might be interested and benefit from receiving the
information. Thank you!

Mon Dec 10 from 6:30 – 8 p.m. Newburgh Church Youth Club (ages 8
and up) meet at the church for Christmas talk, crafts and activities.
Tues Dec 11 at 7 p.m. Newburgh Stewards Meeting
Thurs Dec 13 at 6:50 p.m. at the John M Parrot Centre, Napanee –
Members of the Newburgh Choir are going to go carolling through
the Parrott Centre and you are welcome to come.
Sat Dec 15 at 4 p.m. at Robert and Monique McNichols’ Farm,
3429 County Road 4 Annual Live Nativity. Please contact Connie
Hart 613-379-2573 or Karen NcNichols 613-378-2307 if you can assist in
any way.
Fri Dec 21 at 7 p.m. at Newburgh Church Longest Night Service is a
candlelight service and will include some carol singing, scripture,
encouragement, memorial candle lighting and peaceful reflection.

If you would like to make a memorial donation for the Poinsettias in
the Newburgh Sanctuary, please contact Wendy Hunt at 613-378-6450
with the name or names to whom you want to dedicate. Donation is $15.00.
Today is the deadline to renew your subscription to The Observer.

Sat Dec 8 at Edith Rankine Church, Kingston. A workshop for Official
Board members and Ministry and Personnel committees.
10 a.m. – 12 noon: M&P Committees with emphasis on job descriptions
1 – 2:30 p.m.: New Pastoral Relations process. To register contact David

Sun Dec 9 following service in Centreville. Annual Church Family
Potluck. Please bring a hot or cold item for the buffet table. There will
be a short program before the meal. Everybody is invited to attend, bring
their family, and partake in a time of warm fellowship and good food!

The Shoebox Project for Women collects and distributes gift-filled
shoeboxes, valued at $50, to women who are homeless or at risk to help
reduce feelings of isolation. If you want to donate items for women in
the Greater Napanee area, please contact Anita Jansman at 613-378-
1846 by Sun Dec 2. Items such as soap, gloves, socks, hand cream,
chocolate, and gift cards will be accepted. Anita will deliver them to
Napanee by the deadline of December 5.
