celebrating birthdays. Tim and Treacey Craig are celebrating their

anniversary. Congratulations!

The Newburgh-Centreville Pastoral Charge and the Roblin-Enterprise

Charge will stage a Costume Fundraising Event this fall on 29

September at Newburgh Church. We invite people from the Charge

to help with this event. The costumes will be from Audrey’s Costume

Shop in Kingston and we will be featuring movie personalities and wellknown

figures. We will need people of all sizes and ages to dress up

and have the audience guess who you are. Prizes will be awarded.

Newburgh’s Strawberry Feast is coming up on Sunday June 24th. The last

few years we've held a sealed bid auction during this dinner and last

year the auction actually raised more than the dinner! If we're going to

hold the auction this year we need a few volunteers to collect donated

items, set up, supervise the auction, contact the winning bidders and

make sure their items are picked up/dropped off. It gets you out of

working in the kitchen!! If you would like to see either of these events

happen please let anyone on your Stewards/Trustees committee know

that you can help!

The Newburgh- Centreville Pastoral Charge was approached by the
Roblin-Enterprise Charge about doing a costume fundraising event
this fall. We have meant once to begin planning and confirmed that we
will do this together. We now invite more people from the Charge to
become involved to help with this event, to be held on September 29 in
the Newburgh Church. The costumes will be coming from Audrey’s
Costume Shop in Kingston and we will be featuring movie personalities
and well-known figures. We will need people of all sizes and ages to
dress up and have the audience guess who you are. Prizes will be
awarded to those with the most correct answers. Our next planning
meeting is Monday May 7, Koo Room, Newburgh Church.

Your Stewards/Trustees committee has come up with a couple of
"fun"draising opportunities but we need your help!! Do you feel the
need to Declutter?? Stone Mills Declutter Day is coming up on
Saturday May 26th. We'd love to host a yard sale here at the church but
we need a few volunteers and some good "sellable" items to make this
work. We need people willing to collect donated items, set up, sell it all
and clean up! Come on, it'll be fun!!
