Today is the deadline for reports for the Centreville Church.
- Newburgh Annual Reports are ready for distribution. Your Income Tax Receipt for 2011 is with it – so please don’t forget to take it with you. Please read the report, and remember to bring it back with you next Sunday.
- Newburgh, the Praise Band will practice following today’s service.
Mon 6th Feb @ 7.30: Newburgh Cemetery Board meets in the Koo Room.
Tues 7th Feb @ 7.30: Newburgh Session meets at the Manse.
Next Sun 12th Feb: Newburgh Annual Congregational Meeting will take place after worship, and will be followed by a pot-luck lunch.
Sunday 19th February: Centreville Annual Congregational Meeting will take place following worship.
- Newburgh, following the Contemporary Praise service a Soup & Sandwich lunch will be provided, with freewill offerings going to support the San Salvador mission, of which Jen Shetler will be a part.
Wed 22nd Feb @ 7pm: Joint Session will meet at Newburgh.
Sun 26th Feb @ 4pm at the Manse: a Faith Study will begin on the Great Religions Of The World. This will involve DVD presentations by various teachers and plenty of time for discussion.

This week at Centreville, Jaime Lynn Jelley will celebrate her birthday, as will Lori Wales, Jessie Wales and Michael Switzer at Newburgh. Congratulations!
After completing the examination of the Newburgh Treasurer’s books for 2011, Carol Murphy is stepping down. Our Thanks go to Carol for her many years of dedication. We are looking for a replacement! If you have a book-keeping background and feel you can fill Carol’s shoes – please speak to our Nomination Committee members, Bill Grieve, Marvin Switzer or Rev. Burry.
Queen’s School of Religion will host an Open House at the Theological Hall on Tuesday, February 7th from 10am-2.30pm. Please see details on the notice board.
Barbara Grawberger (Barbara Marlin’s granddaughter) is returning to El Salvador with the mission headed by Reverend Dr. William Smith of Bridge St. United Church in Belleville from March 12-19, 2012. Barbara is inviting everyone to a presentation about the mission and fundraising needs at the CV regular social hour on February 26, 2012.
